The villiage is situated on the R58 approximately 23km from Coleburg on the way to the Gariep Dam.
There is a Police Station, and some small shops as you come into the villiage, as you turn right at the bottom of the road, you see the old railway station masters house, the station, the old post office, the bottle store & the newly renovated Glasgow Pont Hotel.
There is a small school and few house dotted around.
